Global Talent Acquisition Lead (d/w/m)


Are you ready to inspire, manage, and deliver impactful initiatives and outcomes that enable Leica Microsystems to attract and hire the best talent? Then come and join our fantastic team! Your will work in a hybrid model from home as well as from our global headquarter in Wetzlar near Frankfurt.  

  • Lead a team of six Talent Acquisition Partners located in Germany, France and the US, ensuring global recruiting standards, KPIs, in working with local TA and HR teams
  • Effectively leverage and collaborate within the Danaher (parent company) talent acquisition model, managing Leica Microsystems hiring demand across countries, ensuring strong service from the Danaher integrated talent acquisition model.
  • Develop and implement best practice talent acquisition processes globally, including social media activities, interviewing skills, KPIs and visual management
  • Develop manage the LMS employer brand, including our career website to attract a strong pipeline of diverse talent and ensure best candidate experience
  • Facilitate and support our diverse hiring (female, people of color in US, other aspects of diversity) so we continuously attract richly diverse talents.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment and selection process for high level positions across all departments
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment process whenever needed (peak times, vacation cover, etc.)
  • Proactively apply new ideas for innovative sourcing strategies and techniques and drive best practice interviewing and assessment techniques to select top talent
  • Manage portfolio of external vendors, e.g. search agencies to drive strong results and manage cost of hiring.


  • You successfully completed a bachelor’s degree and/or several year’s equivalent experience in a European or global role.
  • You have proven experience in full-cycle recruitment in a producing company. Any experience in within the life science, medical devices, engineering, complex technology or similar industries would be a plus.
  • You are experienced in building employer brand utilizing social media, life sciences/medical device specific avenues based on excellent communication skills.
  • You know how to manage a blend of internal and external sourcing channels with strong knowledge and experience of internet research skills which results in sustained hires for pivotal and critical roles.
  • You know how to identify and leveraging market trends to deliver the right talent at the right time.
  • You are detail oriented and highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong communication skills as well as knowledge of basic employment law (e.g. data privacy regulations).
  • You are fluent in German and English (both written and spoken) and willing to travel up to 20%.
  • You are proactive; take ownership and you are accountable while driving for results.
  • You know how to collaborate in a global, matrixed and fast-paced environment
